Trapped in the bubble of comfort,
dumbed down with the false virtual “reality”,
We see nothing more than the now and the here…
We lost the vision of beyond the horizon
stuck in fun and entertainment…
We live in the age of apostasy and iniquity,
like little kings, here and there, everywhere,
powerful, deluded, incapable of awakening
to the true reality of our damnation…
Searching again and again for security in things,
trusting in our own goodness,
independent of the God who became human,
self-sufficient walking towards the abyss…
It’s that we don’t understand, that we are slaves,
that we need to be rescued
by the one who is the center of the story
the one who divided it into a before and after,
by the one who was born in a manger,
for which he abandoned his glory
to walk among us,
by him who died on a cross,
by the one who rose again on the third day…
It’s just that we still don’t understand
that Christmas is not a party,
that God himself took human form
and he has brought us the best gift…
